Summary, Etc.Isolates of Aspergillus spp. and Penicillium spp. from corn seeds were inoculated with Czapek's and Czapek yeast autolysate agar mixed with benomyl, captan and different levels of propionic acid and ammonia to evaluate their efficacy against these two fungal genera. Mycelial growht of Aspergillus and Penicillium isolate were inhibited in agar with 1, 2, 5 and 10 ppm benomyl. Conidial germination of all the isolates was generally suppressed by 5 and 10 ppm benomyl. Captan inhibited Aspergillus and Penicillium isolates growth at 50 and 100 ppm, respectively. No sporulation and conidial germination of all Aspergillus and Penicillium isolates were observed in the medium treated with 100, 150 and 200 ppm captan. Growth of Aspergillus isolates were significantly inhibited only at 0.01%
