Summary, Etc.The study aimed to observe wild banana grown from seeds and in plantations. It also aimed to determine the harvesting cycle and the yield of trunks by weight (green basis). Raw fibers were pressed to remove the water. Harvestable trunks of wild bananas in the plantation were inventoried and clear-cut for pulping studies by the Chemical Investigations Service. Some 21,876 t (green weight) of banana were defibered, too
