$aThis study determines the level of technological capability of the Iligan City abaca industry, the effective and efficient mechanisms for building up technological capabilities as well as the mechanisms that can facilitate technological capability and acquisition for the development and upgrading of the Iligan City abaca industry. The TNA methodology is designed to identify priority needs and to enable the players in the abaca industry rapidly assess their own capabilities and develop viable technology strategies. The methodology can also help the industry build up the capabilities to implement technology projects quickly to meet local needs.
