Summary, Etc.
Centrifugal partition chromatography (CPe) belongs to the family called counter current chromatography eCCC) which involves liquid-liquid partition, and does not employ a.solid support matrix. Although it has been applied to separate and purify a broad range of synthetic and naturally occurring chemical species, CPC offers distinct advantages for the separation of bioactive components from crude extracts of plants, marine organisms and microbial fermentation media.
