MatureTilapia nilotica breeders weighing 45-47 g were stocked in a 1 x 2 x 1 m hapa The hapas were suspended just above the pond bottom from poles in water about 1 m deep. Male to female ratio treatments used were 1:3, 1:4, and 1:5, each assigned with four hapas. Each hapa was given pelletized rice bran-fish meal combination at the rate of five percent
