Summary, Etc.Leaves of guava, tsaang gubat and banana, duhat bark and charcoal were air dried separately for three to four days and finely milled. For every 75 g creep feed (pre-starter mash), 2.5 tbsp of each test material was thoroughly mixed and fed to experimental piglets when they were ten days old. Pigs in treatment A (control) were given 1 ml Baytril each when they were 11 days old. Feeding duration was 18 days. Final weighing of the piglets was done at weaning time. Pigs given powdered charcoal, banana and wild tea leaves and the control diet had lower scouring incidence than the guava leaves- and duhat bark-treated pigs during the first five days. There was no scouring of piglets in the control, guava and wild tea leaves, and charcoal-treated pigs during the second five days while some piglets treated with duhat bark and banana leaves were still scouring. All the differences during the first and second observations were not significant. No scouring incidence was observed during the last five days of the study. Guava and wild tea leaves and charcoal could be used as substitute to commercial antidiarrheal drug with the same efficacy
