Summary, Etc.       The principal objectives of the project were to disseminate scientific methods of seasoning wood and to promote the low-cost furnace-type lumber dry kiln developed by the Forest Products Research and Development Institute.        Fourteen technical training seminars/workshops, attended by 474 participants were conducted in several places in the country from May 1980 to May 1984. Ten units of the furnace-type dry kiln were installed by different firms. Seven staff members of the Ilagan Industries, Inc. in Ilagan, Isabela were trained on kiln operation.        A course module, covering the various aspects of wood seasoning was developed. Handouts were given to participants. Lectures were followed by actual demonstrations. In addition to the seminar/workshop, consultation services were rendered. Moreover, technical advice and remedies were recommended for the various wood seasoning-related problems that the participants encountered in their operations.        Although most of the participants have begun adopting the technologies, it is suggested hat here to assess the impact of these technologies to the firms and the wood seasoning industry in general be assessed. Post-assessment should be made as an integral part of future wood seasoning techno-transfer activity
