Summary, Etc.Three strains (S-A, S-B and S-C) of day-old broiler chicks were used in the experiments. Each strain, consisting of 182 birds, was randomly distributed to 12 dietary treatments and a commercial broiler ration that served as a check diet. The 12 rations were formulated to contain four energy levels (2400, 2600, 2800 and 3000 kcal/kg feed), each with three crude protein levels (18, 20 and 22%)
