Summary, Etc.Some 12 pole sitao entries were evaluated for their shade tolerance. CSL 14,CSL 15 and UPL PS1 were the top yielders with yield levels of 11.32, 11.12 and 9.48 t/ha, respectively. Accession 228 had the lowest values in all the parameters that were determined. No definite parameter could be identified as a good and reliable selection criterion for shade tolerance in the pole sitao experiment. The study was terminated on December, 1987
