 Majority of the respondents are frequent users of the library and they are satisfied with the present services of the ARI library. The information needs of the respondents are adequately met because the library has been providing helpful information to them in their research and extension activities
 Majority of the respondents ranked textbooks as the prime source of specific information to solve specific agrarian reform problems. Most of them avail of the new acquisitions list compiled, printed and distributed by the ARI library in searching for information about new publications. To keep them informed on the developments in their own fields of specialization, the respondents frequently consulted current journals
 The findings showed that majority of the respondents belonged to 26-45 age range with a mean age of 36.6. The highest educational attainment for most of them is the baccalaureate degree level. Majority of the respondents spend most of their time on research and development-related work
 The most preferred form of information by the respondents are books and journal articles. The type of index most utilized by the respondents is the index to serials
 The study attempted to: 1) identify the types of information needed by the research staff of the Agrarian Reform Institute (ARI) and the faculty of the Department of Agrarian and Cooperative Studies (DACS); 2) identify the common resources of information materials used by them; 3) find out how they rate the usefulness of the library services and resources in meeting their information needs; and 4) determine the types of information services preferred by them
