Summary, Etc.Fourteen trials were conducted to evaluate five sets of germplasm from December 1988 to October 1989. Results showed that progenies BR63.74 x LB Bulk and BR63.74 x I-1039 were good yielders as transplants and seedling tubers followed by P-5 x BR112-13 and P-5 x 7xy.1. The progenies BR63.76 x I-1039 and Ackersegen x BWB were not high yielders as transplants but had considerable yield as seedling tubers. Among advanced progenies, 384015.10 x 7xy.1 had no bacterial wilt or Erwinia infection but yield was lower (18.8 t/ha) than MS 82.60 x 378676.6 (25 t/ha) and susceptible to soft rot caused by Erwinia
