During the impact survey, cooperators and noncooperators from within and outside of the project site who sold palay and copra to wholesaler increased, while the sale of corn, rootcrop, livestock, poultry and fishery products to wholesalers by the cooperators and noncooperators decreased. On the other hand, the number of noncooperators selling to wholesaler-assemblers, wholesaler-truckers, and wholesaler-retailers decreased, although the volume handled by retailers increased. Cooperators who sold agricultural crops to wholesaler-retailers increased while those who sold livestock decreased. More cooperators preferred to sell on a cash basis while noncooperators both within and outside the site preferred the advance payment basis. All types of respondents disposed their produce through delivery to the buyers. Also, farmers selling their produce within the project site increased for all types of respondents. Average prices, costs and marketing margins of traders increased. It was observed that the use of marketing facilities like warehouse decreased. There was an increase in the use of farm to market road, transportation facilities, public market and driers and mills by all types of respondents. Improvement of extension services was noted during the impact survey as more cooperators were benefitted. More farmers claimed closer supervision by technicians, and provision of input was noted. More cooperators availed of loans from friends, relatives and cooperatives, while less borrowed from banks. The number of noncooperators who borrowed from friends/relatives decreased. The number of respondents who used the extension agents as source of information declined whereas, membership in farmer's organization increased for all types of respondents. The RRDP activities which the cooperators and noncooperators considered beneficial were establishment of nursery and farm demonstration, seedling and animal dispersal and intercropping
