The yield performance and adaptability of corn varieties, composites and synthetics was evaluated in Isabela in four trials with four replications. From the 13 recommended varieties, UPCA Var 2 and BPI Var 2 each yielded 7.03 t/ha during the dry season trials while Phil DMR Comp. 2 with 5.04 t/ha outyielded other entries in the wet season trials. Among the promising corn composites and synthetics, UPCA Var 1 with 5.71 t/ha yielded the highest during the dry season trials and during the wet season trials Thai Comp. #3 with 5.43 t/ha yielded the highest. Among the yellow corn hybrids, double cross hybrid, Suwan with 6.21 t/ha had the highest yield in dry season trials. In wet season trials, Pioneer x 304 c with 8.04 t/ha significantly outyielded the others. Among the flint hybrids, XP 220 with 5.79 t/ha yielded the highest during the dry season trials. Pioneer x 304 c significantly outyielded all other entries in the wet season trials
