Summary, Etc.The surface wind structure of typhoons were analyzed based on ten years data from 1976 to 1985. The derived radius of maximum wind speed (rws) and maximum wind speed (mws) were inputted to the tangential wind equation (Vr). The wind profiles of the four typhoon cases: Typhoon Etang (Alex, 8708); Herming (Betty, 8709); Ising (Cary, 8711); and Pepang (Lynn, 8720), were calculated following the model. The results of analysis were compared against the fitted real-time and that of parameter B=2.5 (Talib and Amadore, 1984). The preliminary findings of this study gave a good approximation of the peak peripheral winds of the four typhoon cases
