Summary, Etc.The project consisted of four studies. The first study investigated low cost methods that could reduce aflatoxin content and preserve germination capability of peanuts. The second study determined the effects of pretreatments on the shelf-life of shelled peanuts stored at room temperature. Study 3 evaluated the acceptability of using peanut and soybeans for milk beverage and curd. Study 4 was concerned with the development of a multipurpose device for village level processing of peanut seeds and peanut by-products. The prototype was tested at UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT). However, no conclusive findings were yet included in the terminal report
