Summary, Etc.This collection of government policies in the pharmaceutical sciences started as part of a project initiated by Dr. Angel Q. Yoingco, Chairman of the Division on Governmental, Educational, and International Policies. Starting with the provisions of the 1987 Constitution related to health, republic acts, executive orders, presidential decrees, and other legal documents were collected. It is clearly the policy of the government to encourage and support research efforts in the pharmaceutical sciences. The role of pharmaceutical industry in contributing to national development and the need for intensive research in this direction are recognized.
