Summary, Etc.The Department of Science and Technology, after a successful pilot testing of the Technology Package for Student Learning Empowerment for Grade 1 Mathematics, has started development of Mathematics Courseware for Grades 2 to 6. This is a collaboration between different agencies within DOST namely, the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), the National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED) and the Science Education Institute (SEI) . The Courseware for Grades 2 to 6 aims to continue improving elementary school students' performance in mathematics by providing supplementary software, and appropriate teaching support and materials. A total of 42 lessons distributed among selected topics from the different grades will be digitized into modules. These modules are aligned with the K-12 curriculum of the Department of Education
