The experiment studied the effects of varying the media composition such as carbohydrate and nitrogen concentration source, pH and fermentation time to determine the optimum conditions for microbial protein production. Some starchy materials such as cassava flour (CF), sweet potato flour (SFP), and banana flour (BF) were used as low cost materials for single-cell protein production. Starch content of CF, SPF, and BF were almost the same with 63.48, 63.56, and 61.67%,
