Summary, Etc.Collected specimens of patchouli, vetiver, mint, citronella and ilang-ilang from various places and localities in the country were grown under uniform condition to represent various plant accessions for investigation. The morphological features of these plants which were characterized to assess similarities and differences and description were presented and discussed. Morphological assessment of the different accessions of patchouli, mint, vetiver, citronella and ilang-ilang showed one species and one variety in mint (Mentha). Those with cream to whitish flowers corresponded to Mentha arvensis Linne and those with bluish to violet petals pointed to the taxonomic of M.arvensis Linne var. javanica (Bt.) Hook f
