Of the varieties and lines tested the following showed potential for the Bicol Region: Dumaguete Long Purple, Dingras Multiple Purple, Claveria, and Sinampiro for eggplant; Itom Sonad, Abra and BPI 2 for squash; VC 11-1, AVC L5, AVC L15, AVC-C1-11d and Marikit for tomato; LBBS 1, EGBS 2, UPL BS1, and UPLBS 4 for bush sitao; and Mecan pea and VCS 6-1 for cowpea
