Summary, Etc.Three studies were conducted at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Technology to find out the farmers' evaluative standards for acceptable farm machines. The developed machines were : flatbed grain drier, copra drier, solar drier, and arrow root rasper. The project determined: 1) reasons of farmers' acceptance/nonacceptance of the agricultural equipment; 2) their perception of farm mechanization and attitude towards its use; 3) process of acceptance among farmers and; 4) profiles of end-users-acceptors of the agricultural machines. The economic factors that affect the farmer-users' acceptance/nonacceptance of the machines were gathered through interviews of small farmers
