Summary, Etc.A comparative evaluation was conducted to determine the best and most acceptable improved cultural practice in tobacco planting. The randomized complete block design of planting with seven treatments and four replications was used. Topping after the 8th, 10th and 6th standard leaf and allowing three suckers to grow produced bigger, more number of leaves and better yield than tobacco planted at various distancing. Difference in cost of yield were valued at P631.75 to P875.30/ha on its computed equivalent of 7.84-10.16% increase in production. Topped tobacco yielded a maximum of 1,619.00 kg of cured tobacco valued at P8,096.15 while distance of planting produced a maximum yield of 1,492.88 kg valued at P7,464.40/ha
