Summary, Etc.
A higher user/ratio inventory ratio means that a library has small resources and many users while a lower user/ratio inventory means that a library has large resources and smaller number of users
In this case, the ILS Reserve Section's user/inventory ratio for Library Science books (106 percent) has a higher user/inventory ratio than the non-Library Science books (65 percent). This means that despite the large amount of books that library has on Library and Information Science, it is still not enough to satisfy the needs of its users. Therefore, in order to lower the user/inventory ratio of the Library Science books, the library needs to acquire more books on this subject
In this study, the researcher used the document analysis method of research by determining the number of users per subject compared it to the number of books per subject. This is called the user/inventory ratio
The Institute of Library Science Reserve Book Section is the best place to start this study because of its small and compact size. This study discovered that the ILS Reserve Book Section is unblanced
Usage pattern analysis is an important field of study because it enables the librarians to help them keep track of the information needs and patterns of use of their clients
