$aTen sampling stations were chosen based on the abundance of their fauna. Three thousand fifteen specimens of marine macro-invertebrate fauna with an average of 75.38 individuals/100 sq m were collected and identified. Macrobenthic invertebrates collected belonged to 19 classes of nine phyla. The most diversified class was Gastropoda (61 genera) followed by Bivalva (24 genera), Malacostraca and Stelleroidea (18 genera), and Echinoida (15 genera). The most dominant genus by abundance were Archaster, Echninocardium, and Moira under Phylum Echinodermata. Statistical analysis showed significant differences in density from station accompanied by significant differences in water transparency and surface water velocity. Significant differences in density between tansects/quarters within stations were accompanied by significant differences in intermediate water temperature from quarter to quarter.
