Summary, Etc.The monthly and annual rainfall statistics of the 84 Weather Modification Experiment (WEMEX) rainfall stations in Central Luzon for the period 1977-1992 is discussed. Using the 16-year WEMEX rainfall record both the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall in the area bounded by 14 degree 50' N and 15 degree 50' N latitude and 120 degree 30' E and 121 degree 00' E longitude is examined. Results of the monthly annual and seasonal statistical analysis of rainfall for all stations are illustrated and evaluated. Results indicate the August is the wettest month and January is the driest. A high spatial variability of rainfall is observed latitudinally from north to south, while the greatest increase in rainfall amount is obtained longitudinally from the east to west of the WEMEX area. With respect to seasonal rainfall trend, the wet season contributed 70.89% of the total rainfall in the area and only 2.29% rainfall is obtained during the dry season. The rest is accounted for by the rainfall during the transition period
