Summary, Etc.Six cultivars of cucumber, ten cultivars of squash and five cultivars of muskmelon and watermelon were tested for one year in the experimental farms of Mariano Marcos State University in Ilocos Norte. Vine length, plant vigor, number of branches, resistance to pest and diseases and fruit yield in cucumber, squash and watermelon varied significantly among the varieties. Number of fruit yield was significant among the varieties of cucumbers, squash and watermelon. Significant differences in the resistance of cultivars to pest and diseases were observed which indicated their potentials as breeding materials
