Summary, Etc.Planted wildlings of tanguile, mayapis and red lauan treated with gibberellic acid (GA3) with concentration levels of 0 (control), 25, 50 and 75 ppm applied to two groups of wildlings, 0-8 and 9-16 number of leaves, were tested for height and diameter growth. Results showed that plants with most number of leaves performed better in terms of height and diameter growth for the three species. The treatments which gave the best height and diameter growth were 50 ppm GA3 for mayapis, 75 ppm and 50 ppm GA3 for tanguile and red lauan wildlings, respectively. The results, however, showed no significant differences among treatment means. A normal trend of shoot growth of the treated plants was not established due to beetle infestations of the Curculionidae family. It attacked the internode of succulent shoots of tanguile and red lauan. Most plants treated with GA3 were attacked by the beetle because these were observed to have longer internode than the control
