Title StatementRotation of the current distribution of a circular loop antenna by electrical means/ Cecilio F. Tanjoco
Physical Descriptionv, 51 leaves : ill
Summary, Etc.The generalized multiple-fed loop antenna is first analyzed by utilizing the Fourier series expansion of the current distribution of single-fed circular loop. from the resulting equations, locations and phases of voltage sources are determined so that the current distribution is a sinusoidal one. By varying the relative magnitudes but not the phases, the current distribution can be rotated without affecting the admittances presented to the driving voltages. The radiation field is then determined and a control network for generating two in-phase (or out of phase) voltages sources of variable relative magnitude and circular locus is analyzed. Finally, experiments are performed verifying the sinusoidal current distribution and the shift or rotation of this distribution with changes in the value of the relative magnitude of the applied voltage sources
