Summary, Etc.The technicians from 89 municipalities in all the provinces of Bicol Region need further training in technical skills and professional competencies. However, the farmers recognized and acknowledged the impact of the extension program. The technician's serious problem was the indifferences of the clientele towards the value of the program of extension as indicated by the slow rate of adopting new technology. The establishment and maintenance of a demonstration model farm project in the locality will motivate farmers to become more receptive in adopting farming technology and to accelerate the dissemination of new and scientific knowledge and practices
